Lakki Marwat operation

LAKKI MARWAT: Security forces conducted a major operation in the Wanda Sheikh Allah area of Lakki Marwat on October 24, resulting in the elimination of eight Khawarij militants and serious injuries to five others, according to security sources.

The operation was launched following actionable intelligence, with security personnel executing the mission with precision. Sources confirmed that the militants were unable to escape during the raid.

In response to ongoing concerns about the presence of potential terrorists in the area, a search operation is currently underway to ensure the complete neutralisation of threats.

Authorities said that, under the National Action Plan (NAP), operations will continue until the elimination of the remaining Khawarij and the full restoration of law and order in the region.

Six terrorists killed in Dalbandin

Earlier in a separate operation in Balochistan, security forces killed six terrorists linked to the “Fitna al-Hindustan” network during an intelligence-based operation in Dalbandin. According to security sources, the militants had been hiding in a mountain cave under constant aerial surveillance before the hideout was targeted and all six were neutralised. Officials described the operation as a major success achieved through close coordination between the armed forces and intelligence agencies. They reiterated that counterterrorism operations in Balochistan would continue until the region is completely cleared of militant activity and lasting peace is restored.
