RAWAPINDI: Nine Indian backed Khawarij were killed and another eight arrested, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Sunday, as security forces conducted a days-long joint operation in collaboration with police and district administration in Malakand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier in the day, the ISPR shared the news about killing four Indian backed terrorists in Kalat district of Balochistan, as operations have been intensified in the terrorism-infested western provinces of Pakistan in recent days.

As far as the killing of terrorists in Malakand is concerned, the ISPR says the join operation continued from July 17 to July 20, resulting in the killing of nine Indian proxies and the arrest of eight others.
It also noted the fact that the local population praised the security forces and law enforcement agency for carrying out the operation.
One may recall the protests in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the people expressed their anger over the Imran government’s decision to resettle the terrorists under a so-called peace arrangement.
