Security forces target Khawarij hiding in Wana Cadet College

An operation is underway against three foreigners present at Wana Cadet College, according to security sources.

The foreigners are reported to be from Afghanistan, security sources say.

They have been continuously receiving instructions from Afghanistan via telephone, the sources added.

All three are hiding in a building at Wana Cadet College, which is located far from the cadets’ residential quarters, security officials said.

The clearance of the building is being carried out with expertise, they added.

On November 10, a vehicle loaded with explosives had been rammed into the college gate, causing the gate to collapse and damaging nearby buildings, according to security sources.

The operation by security forces will continue until the terrorists are neutralised, the sources confirmed.
