ISLAMABAD: TikTok representatives conducted a training session on Monday for Pakistani content creators and news publishers, aimed at enhancing their ability to promote viral content using new tools.

The session featured top officials from popular entertainment platforms, including Coke Studio Season 15, and representatives from a Turkish broadcasting institution, who shared their experiences with TikTok.

They provided insights into the use of tools like CapCut and other video editing features that help make content more engaging and viral.

Instructors emphasized how using tools like CapCut enhances the quality of short videos, making them more likely to attract a larger audience.

They said that TikTok has introduced a new feature, ‘Sound Search,’ designed to improve music discovery on the platform. This tool allows users to identify songs by singing, humming, or playing them.

Beyond song identification, ‘Sound Search’ links users to trending videos associated with the track, reflecting TikTok’s focus on creative video content. It can also identify popular TikTok sounds and memes.

During demonstrations, ‘Sound Search’ successfully identified well-known TikTok memes, such as the “Oh my gosh, she’s bald. She’s bald, and she’s torturing people with hair!” clip from “Totally Spies” and the viral “Nobody’s gonna know” sound.
