Seven terrorists killed in Chitral: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: At least 7 terrorists were killed in the Ursoon area of Chitral district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.

“Pakistani troops effectively engaged terrorists’ location and after an intense exchange of fire, seven terrorists were killed and another six critically injured,” read ISPR’s press release.

The ISPR said that sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

Locals of the area appreciated the operation by the security forces and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country, it added.
