Several PTI workers deprived of mobile phones during Peshawar rally


PESHAWAR: During a rally in Peshawar, that took place on Sunday several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers had their mobile phones stolen.

Two days ago, attendees of the PTI rally filed complaints regarding around 2 dozen phone thefts at Kabootar Chowk on Ring Road in Peshawar.

Police have reported that stringent security measures were implemented for the rally. Throughout the event, several individuals displaying suspicious behaviour were detained, and their statements were documented.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Fakirabad Muhammad Aleem said that a formal report concerning the mobile phone theft has been filed, and efforts to locate the suspects are underway.
