Shaheen Afridi all set to wed Ansha this month

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is scheduled to marry Ansha Afridi, daughter of former Pakistan Cricket team captain Shahid Afridi, later this month.

Shaheen and Ansha tied the knot in early February in a minimal nikkah according to the Afridi tribal traditions.

Shahid Afridi, in an interview with a private news channel, disclosed that the wedding festivities for Shaheen would commence in September this year, attributing the delay to the Asia Cup.

The Asia Cup is set to conclude on September 17, 2023.

Sources from a private TV channel report that the wedding date for Shaheen Afridi and Ansha Afridi has been confirmed for September 19.

The Walima ceremony is scheduled to be held on September 21, 2023, in Islamabad.

It should be noted that neither Shahid Afridi nor Shaheen Shah Afridi has officially confirmed the dates.
