WEB DESK: Pakistan were sent in to bat after England won the toss in the opening Test of the three-match series on Wednesday, with weather concerns in Leeds also influencing the decision.

Pakistan suffered an early setback as Azam Awais was dismissed for a duck by Ollie Robinson, leaving Imam-ul-Haq at the crease.

Robinson struck again soon after, removing Pakistan captain Shan Masood and putting the visitors under early pressure.

Play is currently suspended due to rain in Leeds, with Pakistan struggling at the start of their innings.

Abdullah Shafique has joined Imam-ul-Haq at the crease as Pakistan look to rebuild their innings.

Fans of both sides are hoping the weather clears soon so play can resume.
