Shan Masood to replace Babar as test captain

WEB DESK: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to appoint Shan Masood as the captain of Pakistan’s test cricket team.

According to Geo Super, the announcement of his appointment is expected soon.

The changes in the national team and management began after the performance of the Pakistan cricket team in the World Cup and the resignation of Babar Azam from the captaincy in all three formats.

According to details, the PCB will announce the captaincy of the Test team immediately. Shan Masood is considered a strong contender for it, and is present at the Gaddafi Stadium for a meeting with the board officials.

Who will be the captain of other formats?

According to sources, Shaheen Shah Afridi is a strong contender for the leadership of the Green Shirts in the T20s, while former captain Mohammad Hafeez is likely to be given important responsibilities in the management.
