Sharif sends bouquet; wishes quick recovery to Dawar

PESHAWAR: Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has extended his heartfelt wishes for the speedy recovery of National Democratic Movement (NDM) Chairman Mohsin Dawar.

Sending a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of goodwill, Sharif expressed his concern and hopes for Dawar’s well-being. The gesture has been warmly received, and shared on social media by another NDM member Rahim Dawar with gratitude towards Sharif for his kind sentiments during this time.

Dawar, who is also the former chairman of the National Assembly’s standing committee on Foreign Affairs, was shot on February 10 outside a polling station of NA-40 constituency in North Waziristan’s Miran Shah. He contested the general elections from this constituency and then also alleged irregularities in the results compilation.
