Sher Afzal Marwat tests positive for Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Sher Afzal has tested positive for Covid-19.

Marwat in a post on the social media platform ‘X’ formerly known as Twitter on Thursday, said that he tested positive for Covid-19.

“After falling ill, initial tests revealed that I have contracted COVID-19. I have a high temperature and my body is aching. I am currently hospitalized and request all of you to pray for my speedy recovery. The doctors say that the Covid-19 is now less deadly,” wrote Marwat.

After testing positive, Marwat may not be able to attend PTI’s Lahore rally scheduled for September 21 at Minar-e-Pakistan.

Earlier today,  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan stated that the party’s rally is a “Do or Die” moment for them.
