Sindh cheated through fraudulent elections: Ayaz Latif Palijo

JAMSHORO: Grand Democratic Alliance leader Ayaz Latif Palijo has said that Sindh has been cheated through fraudulent elections.
Addressing a sit-in in Jamshoro against alleged rigging, he said that the PPP has snatched the hopes of the people of Sindh, the general election had been given to the PPP in a decorated plate.
He said that there is no place for honest people in the Sindh Assembly, in Centre or in the Parliament He said that when Pakistan was in trouble, the politicians of Sindh played their role.
Palijo complained that Sindh has not been a part of the national political agenda for 15 years People have realized that the statements against corruption are just a gimmick. The federation is indifferent to the governance, prosperity and merit in Sindh.
He said that the PPP has made Sindh a railway station where the decision-making train does not stop. He said the government changes in three provinces but not in Sindh. The PPP has considered Sindh a sacrificial goat and the education system in Sindh has been ruined.
He demanded to stop playing with the future of the federation and the country. He rejected the fake results and demanded to hold elections again.
GDA leader Fahmida Mirza has said that Sindh was sold in the 2018 and 2024 elections.
Addressing the sit-in, she said these people have not come here for the money of any ATM, they have come here on their passion.
Fahmida Mirza said that there was not only rigging in the election, the people’s rights were robbed.
She demanded to apply Article 6 against those who robbed the people’s rights.
She asked to tell what price was paid for usurping the rights of the people?
She said that the people of Sindh will not sit still until they get their rights. Today, fingers are being raised at you, now the people of Sindh will not remain silent, they want the alliance of all those parties in Sindh who have been cheated, we are striving for real democracy.
Fahmida Mirza said that I want to congratulate the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they stood by their position, we will continue to struggle for democracy, we do not accept the current election commission and the election.
