Sindh education department announces Oxford University scholarships

KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has announced scholarships for admission to the University of Oxford, offering a major opportunity for students aspiring to pursue higher education at one of the world’s leading institutions.

According to a spokesperson for the department, the scholarships will be available for candidates seeking admission at the graduate, master’s, MPhil, and PhD levels. Applicants must hold a Sindh domicile and a valid national identity card to be eligible.

The spokesperson said that candidates will be required to meet Oxford University’s merit criteria and demonstrate proficiency in the English language. Shortlisted applicants will be called for interviews, after which the final list of successful candidates will be approved.

The scholarships are being offered in the context of the recent visit to Oxford University by Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, reflecting the Sindh government’s commitment to promoting higher education and international academic opportunities for students of the province.
