Sindh: matric, intermediate examinations to start from May

KARACHI: The annual Matric and Intermediate examinations in Sindh are scheduled to commence in May, following a decision made during a meeting of the sub-committee of the Steering Committee chaired by Acting Minister of Education Rana Hussain. Matric exams are set to begin in the first week of May, with Intermediate exams starting in the last week of the same month.

According to the spokesperson, the matric results will be released by July 31 and the intermediate results will be released by the second week of August.

New Academic Year

The new academic year for schools across Sindh will start on April 15, while the old schedule for winter and summer vacations will remain in place.

The academic year for schools across the province is from April 15 and for colleges from August 1.

A 15-day training session will be held for teachers during the summer vacations.
