At least 20 injured in Peshawar gas cylinder explosion

ESHAWAR: At least 20 people were injured when a gas cylinder exploded on Monday in a shop on Kabootar Chowk near Ring Road Peshawar.

Rescue authorities promptly reached the site of explosion and shifted the injured to a local hospital.

The cause of the explosion could not be ascertained immediately.

Similarly, a fire broke out in a private hospital located near the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar on January 14. The fire was put out after two hours. No injuries were reported, however.

Last year in December, a gas cylinder exploded in Karachi’s Machar Colony, leaving one dead and injuring seven others.
