According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nearly half the world’s population is at risk of dengue, with an estimated 100 to 400 million infections occurring annually.

While most dengue cases result in mild symptoms, the disease can be deadly if not diagnosed and treated promptly.

Authorities have urged the public to exercise caution, avoid high-risk areas, and cooperate with health teams working to eradicate the virus.
