SK threatens to expose Minahil Malik and Rajab Butt

ISLAMABAD: Days after explicit videos of Minahil Malik resurfaced online, YouTuber Rana Sharyar — popularly known as SK — has threatened to expose the TikTok star and fellow YouTuber Rajab Butt, accusing them of defaming him.

In a TikTok video, SK claimed that Minahil Malik had uploaded more videos to defame him. He said he had stayed silent at someone’s request but now intended to expose her and a salon owner named Farah, based in Rawalpindi’s PWD area, who he accused of running a “dirty business”.

“I have proof of who sponsored Minahil and Farah’s Umrah, where they stayed in Saudi Arabia, and whose husband she lived with,” SK said in the video, adding that he would soon upload a vlog with evidence to expose their “business” in PWD. “I will shut your whole dirty business,” he said.

Minahil recently defended herself by referencing her Umrah pilgrimage in March, arguing that if she were truly a sinner, Allah would not have called her to His house.

SK further said that he faced intense public backlash due to the viral videos. He also threatened to expose Rajab Butt, saying he had received a video of him that would leave Butt unable to defend himself. “I will show the public Rajab Butt’s real face — and that of his entire family,” SK warned.

In another interview, SK alleged that the earlier videos were leaked by Minahil Malik with the help of fellow TikTokers Hareem Shah and Sandal Khattak. He said his friendship with Minahil had lasted over a year, and he was unaware that she was allegedly running a scam to trap people.

Previously, Minahil had claimed the circulating videos were fake and doctored. In response, SK gave her a 24-hour deadline to delete them, threatening to take legal action and submit proof to the authorities.

“These videos are original and were captured on Minahil’s own phone,” SK said, presenting what he claimed was evidence — including a recording in which Minahil allegedly threatened him:

“If you don’t come and meet me on Friday, I will make all the videos of you and me go viral.”

He clarified that the videos in question were recorded in June 2023.

Earlier, Minahil responded to her critics via Instagram, telling them to “mind their own business” and stop trying to be her “father.”

Addressing the backlash over her leaked videos, she said she was content with her life and unaffected by public opinion, dismissing criticism as mere “barking.”

Rajab Butt, meanwhile, has also faced controversy. He was previously charged with blasphemy after launching a perfume named “295” — a reference to Pakistan’s blasphemy laws under the penal code.

Butt, one of Pakistan’s most-followed content creators, has been embroiled in multiple controversies, including the brief custody of a lion cub. He said he launched the “295” perfume in response to a blasphemy case filed against him last year over an earlier video deemed offensive.

Rajab Butt later issued a video seeking apology while performing Umrah.
