Earlier on Friday, KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi took oath of the much-anticipated new cabinet ofthe Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government at the Governor House in Peshawar.

Afridi, who has pledged to prioritise stability and effective governance, reiterated that the cabinet’s formation would take place in phases, with this first lineup laying the foundation for future expansions.

In a statement earlier this week, Afridi said the initial phase of the cabinet would focus on streamlining governance and addressing key provincial issues. The mix of seasoned politicians and emerging figures is expected to bring both continuity and fresh perspectives to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s political landscape.
