Solar panel prices plummet: 5 to 15kw systems now cheaper

ISLAMABAD: The prices of solar panel systems in Pakistan have dropped significantly, making it easier than ever for both the office and homeowners to go solar.

A 5 KW solar system now costs PKR 550,000, down from PKR 600,000. Similarly, a 7 kW system is available for PKR 600,000, while a 10 kW system now costs around PKR 950,000 to 1,000,000, compared to over a million before.

Even larger systems are more affordable. A 15 kW solar system, which used to cost between PKR 1,400,000 and 1,450,000, is now priced at PKR 1,250,000 to 1,300,000.
