Star Wars Outlaws: Ubisoft announces release date


WEB DESK: Ubisoft’s upcoming game “Star Wars Outlaws” excited fans and create significant buzz online due to its release date announcement and accompanying trailer.

The game is scheduled for release on August 30 of this year. Fans of the franchise are extremely excited as this follows the release of other eagerly anticipated games.

Star Wars Outlaws release date was originally leaked online. However, Ubisoft later confirmed the date alongside the release of a story trailer introducing players to the game’s protagonist.

The game features an “open-world adventure”, a genre that has see recent popularity in the gaming community. Games set in the “open-world adventure” give players the freedom to explore different and vast environments in-universe. The players can engage in a variety of activities and missions at their own pace. Famous famous games within the genre include “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” and “Grand Theft Auto V.”

Ubisoft has declared Star Wars Outlaws as the first Star Wars games in the “open-world” genre.

Despite its open world setting, the game’s overarching story line will be centred in the criminal underworld of the franchise’s universe. The protagonist is a crook and through him, players will be able to interact with various crime families, one of whom is hell bent on pursing the protagonist.

Fans will be able to play the game on their personal computers (PC), Xbox Series X and S, and PlayStation 5.

The game was developed by “Massive Entertainment”, the same studio that has worked on James Cameron’s “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora”. Star Wars Outlaws joins a series of other high-profile Star Wars games from well-known developers in the gaming world. Besides Massive Entertainment, “Respawn Entertainment” created the Jedi series.
