Sunday’s weather: mostly hot and dry, thunderstorms in select regions

WEB DESK: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted the weather for Sunday to be predominantly hot and dry across most regions of the country. However, certain areas may experience variations, with the likelihood of gusty winds and thundershowers in specific areas.

In Islamabad and its surrounding areas, Sunday is expected to bring cloudy skies accompanied by rain, wind, and thunder.

Meanwhile, in Punjab, most districts will experience hot and dry weather, with winds anticipated in the afternoon. However, areas such as Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, and others may witness rain with thundershowers.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, partly cloudy conditions are expected in most districts, although regions like Chitral, Dir, and Peshawar might encounter gusty winds and thundershowers.

Sindh is poised for hot and dry weather across the majority of its districts, with upper regions likely to experience strong winds.

Balochistan is forecasted to remain hot and dry, although winds are probable in the afternoon.

Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are anticipated to have cloudy skies with strong winds and thundershowers, with the possibility of heavy rain or hailstorms in certain areas.
