PARIS: An all-Ukrainian battle is unfolding in the French Open quarter-final as Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk remain locked in a gripping faceoff on Court Philippe-Chatrier here.

The match is currently in progress, with Svitolina holding a slight edge after taking the opening set 6-3. Kostyuk responded strongly to claim the second set 6-2, forcing the encounter into a deciding third set.
