LAHORE: In a notable move as part of its New Year initiatives, the provincial government has decided to extend a reprieve to its citizens by not raising the driving license fee.
Chief Minister Mohsen Naqvi declared that there will be no increase in driving license fees until January 10.
This announcement comes as a temporary relief measure, providing citizens an opportunity to secure or renew their driving licenses at the current rates until the specified date.
Naqvi, emphasizing the importance of timely action, urged residents to avail themselves of this window of opportunity before the fee adjustment takes effect.
Effective January 10, the driving license fees are slated to undergo an increment. This decision, aimed at facilitating the public, underscores the government’s commitment to addressing citizen concerns.
