Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce and Alysa Liu turn heads at iHeartRadio awards

Taylor Swift turned the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards into her night, but it was a deeply personal moment involving Travis Kelce and a surprise spotlight shared with Alysa Liu that drove the biggest buzz.

The couple made their first awards show appearance together, arriving hand-in-hand at the Dolby Theatre just moments before the ceremony began, drawing loud reactions from the crowd.

Swift went on to dominate the night, taking home a string of major awards including Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for The Life of a Showgirl. She also secured several fan-voted honours, including Best Lyrics, Best Music Video and Favourite Tour Style for The Eras Tour.

One of the standout moments came when Liu presented Swift with Artist of the Year, adding an unexpected crossover highlight between sport and music.

Taking the stage, Swift described the album as a reflection of her bond with fans.

“The Life of a Showgirl was really inspired by the energy I felt looking into crowds and connecting with you every single night,” she said. “The energy that came out of it was feeling really happy and strong and confident.”

She then shifted to a more personal note, referencing Kelce directly and calling him her fiancé.

“This album feels happy and free because that is how I get to feel every day of my life because of my fiancé, who is here tonight,” she added.

Kelce, who recently credited Swift as a major influence behind his decision to return for a 14th NFL season, has also spoken about their shared ambition.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, he praised Swift’s creativity and consistency, calling it “motivating” as he continues his own career.

Beyond the awards, Swift remained one of the most visible figures throughout the night. Host Ludacris joked about wanting her endorsement to return next year, drawing a smile and wave from the singer.

Kelce, 36, is coming off another strong season, leading Kansas City in key receiving categories. With another NFL campaign ahead and Swift continuing her winning streak, the couple’s influence now spans both sport and music.
