The FIR reveals that the incident stems from a misunderstanding. The previous day, the victim had visited the culprits’ home to deliver educational certificates to their niece. In her absence, their younger sister received the certificates. However, upon his departure, the sister began shouting and crying, attracting the attention of neighbours who intervened and escorted the victim home.

Despite the matter being resolved, the culprits suspected the teenager of having an inappropriate relationship with their niece and allegedly orchestrated the assault.
