Teenage girl shot dead in Lahore

LAHORE: Unidentified armed men gunned down a teenager girl in Chuhang area of Lahore on Wednesday, according to the police.

According to details, unknown gunmen opened fire on a motorcycle carrying a father and a daughter near Jubilee Town as a result of which, Alisha, 16, was critically injured.

Her father Abdul Ghaffar remained safe during the attack, said the police while adding that the attackers were succesful in escaping the scene.

The injured teenager was rushed to Jinnah Hospital where she succumbed to injuries during treatment.

The police, after registering a case, have started investigations. -INP
