Terrorist killed in North Waziristan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: At least one terrorist was killed during an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan district on Monday.

According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the operation, intense fire exchange took place between troops and terrorists, and as a result of which, terrorist Naikman Ullah was killed.

The slain terrorist was actively involved in numerous terrorist activities including target killing of innocent civilians, the ISPR said adding that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorist.

According to the ISPR, sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate other potential terrorists in the area. “Security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.
