WEB DESK: Tesla has officially bolstered its presence in the Middle East with the opening of its second Saudi Arabian hub, located at the Jeddah Auto Mall.
This strategic move follows the electric vehicle (EV) giant’s successful debut in the Kingdom last year, signalling a rapid intensification of the brand’s efforts to capture the Gulf’s growing appetite for sustainable transport.
By establishing a physical footprint in the nation’s second-largest city, Tesla aims to provide a comprehensive touchpoint for sales, service, and delivery, catering to a demographic increasingly pivoting away from traditional internal combustion engines.
Driving the vision 2030 green transition
The expansion is more than just a retail milestone; it serves as a tangible pillar for the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives, which prioritise economic diversification and environmental sustainability.
Since its inaugural launch at Bujairi Terrace on 10 April 2025, and the subsequent opening of the Riyadh centre in June, Tesla has seen a surge in interest for its flagship Model 3 and Model Y units.
This new Jeddah facility is expected to streamline the ownership experience for customers in the Hejaz region, further embedding high-performance EVs into the Saudi landscape and supporting national targets to reduce carbon emissions across the peninsula.
