Early reactions to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie are taking over social media, and not all of them are positive.
As clips from the sequel and first impressions spread online, many viewers are pointing to the same issue, arguing that while the film looks visually impressive, it lacks depth.

Others have said the sequel feels overcrowded, with too many characters and moments competing for attention without a clear emotional core.
Debate grows as reactions split

Some fans have defended the film, arguing that its fast-paced, visually rich style is exactly what audiences expect from a Mario adaptation.

Supporters also point out that the film leans heavily into nostalgia and fan service, which may resonate more with longtime players of the games than general audiences.
