Thirteen family members faint after eating toxic food in Kasur

KASUR: Thirteen members of the same family fell ill after consuming contaminated food in Basti Eid Gah, Khudian Khas area of Kasur on Thursday.

Rescue officials reported that Asghar’s family became unwell after eating the food, and 13 individuals from the household were rushed to the hospital due to their worsening condition.

Those affected by the toxic food include individuals like 65-year-old Gaman, 22-year-old Sajda, 11-year-old Ghulam Murtaza, 22-year-old Mohammad Ashraf, 10-year-old Ayesha, Tobiah, 9-year-old Ali Asghar, 8-year-old Hasnain, 5-year-old Ayesha, 4-year-old Taiba, and 3-year-old Fatima.

Doctors mentioned that samples are being collected from the stomachs of all individuals, including children, and are being sent to Lahore for forensic analysis. However, they assured that the condition of all affected persons is stable. INP
