Three suspected murderers of Allama Masood-ur-Rehman arrested

ISLAMABAD: Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested three suspects in the murder of Allama Masood-ur-Rehman Usmani, who was the Central Deputy Secretary General of Sunni Ulema Council Pakistan.
Sources said that three suspects involved in the murder of Allama Masood-ur-Rehman Usmani have been arrested after they were identified with the help of CCTV footages.
According to the sources, one suspect was arrested from Mandi Bahauddin, one from Rawalpindi and one from Islamabad. The arrested suspects are affiliated with a banned organisation.

Sources further said that the suspects followed Allama Masood-ur-Rehman from Rawalpindi, two suspects were assigned to reconnaissance and the other two to firing.
It may be recalled that Allama Masood was killed by unknown assailants in the Gauri Town area of Islamabad a few days ago.
