Three terrorists killed in Pishin gun battle: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: At least three militants were killed during a confrontation with security forces in Balochistan’s Pishin district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

The statement issued said that the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in response to the “reported presence of terrorists on night 22/23 April 24.”

The statement further mentioned that one militant, identified as an Afghan national, was apprehended in injured condition. Additionally, a substantial cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives was seized during the operation.

The Inter-Services Public Relations emphasised that Pakistan’s security forces, in alignment with the nation, are resolute in their commitment to thwart any attempts to disrupt the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan.

Recent times have witnessed an increase in terrorist incidents in Pakistan.
