TAXILA: A female TikToker from Taxila has accused two men of gang raping her in a moving car near Khanpur and alleged that police dismissed her complaint, calling her a “prostitute” and treating her as a suspect rather than a victim.
According to credible sources, the 25-year-old woman TikToker, identified as the wife of Faisal, contacted the police emergency helpline 15, claiming she had been lured with a fake job offer.
She told police that a man named Najeeb Khan, with whom she had connected on TikTok, had invited her to meet near the Khanpur canal stop in Taxila.
Upon arrival, she was seated in the back of a car driven by an unidentified man, with another man, Faizan, sitting in the front passenger seat.
The TikToker alleged that both Najeeb and Faizan raped her in the moving vehicle before throwing her out near an unknown location on Khanpur Road. She further claimed the suspects stole her mobile phone, Rs 3,000 in cash, and a gold locket.

When the woman reached the Khanpur police station to lodge a complaint, she alleged that officers labelled her a “promiscuous woman” and instead summoned her estranged husband, sending her back home with him after a brief and dismissive inquiry.
The couple had reportedly been separated for three years and were not on good terms at the time of the incident.
Local sources said police not only refused to register an FIR but also appeared to be protecting the accused. The case has sparked serious concerns about police conduct, particularly regarding allegations that they had prior knowledge of the accused or the incident.
Activists and local observers have criticised the Khanpur police for failing to provide justice to the alleged victim, suggesting that accessing justice in the area is “harder than obtaining a US visa.”
They also questioned how police could summarily dismiss the case without a formal investigation into the suspects named in the complaint.
When contacted, a police officer on duty claimed the TikToker woman had come to Khanpur Dam “of her own free will” accompanied by others and that the matter had been “resolved” and she was sent back. However, no details were provided regarding a formal investigation or forensic inquiry.
The incident has raised fresh concerns over how women, particularly social media influencers, are treated by law enforcement when they report sexual assault, especially in cases involving alleged honey traps or digital interactions. Rights groups have called on the DIG Hazara and DPO Haripur to take immediate notice and ensure a transparent investigation.
Earlier this month, a well-known TikToker, Sana Yousuf, 17, was shot dead inside her home in Islamabad’s G-13 sector.
Police arrested an accused named Umar Hayat alias Kaka, 22, who is currently in police custody on a four-day physical remand.
