Toshakhana record shows Shehbaz, Zardari among recipients of luxury gifts

ISLAMABAD: The Cabinet Division has released the Toshakhana record for the first quarter of 2026 (January to March), showing President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif among recipients of valuable gifts.

According to an official statement, all recipients deposited the gifts in Toshakhana in accordance with rules.

The record showed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif topped the list of recipients, receiving a total of 27 gifts during the January–March 2026 period. The gifts included a Patek Philippe watch, three Rolex watches, gold models and multiple jewellery sets.

Similarly, President Asif Ali Zardari received 10 valuable gifts, including a Vacheron Constantin watch, swords, a chess set and a wool overcoat, the document showed.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received eight gifts, including a Rolex watch, the record showed.

First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari received a jewellery set and traditional attire, while Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari was presented with a valuable necklace, according to the Cabinet Division record.

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi and Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja were also among those who received gifts during the period.

Former National Accountability Bureau chairman Lt Gen (retd) Nazir Ahmad Butt was also listed among the recipients, the document showed.
