Traffic alert: Key capital roads to face diversions tomorrow evening

ISLAMABAD: Traffic police officials on Monday evening informed that several key routes in the federal capital will face temporary diversions, urging citizens to plan their journeys and opt for alternative routes.

According to a police spokesperson, diversions will be implemented from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the Islamabad Expressway, Murree Road, and Club Road.

Due to these diversions, traffic congestion is expected to increase on Express Highway and Faisal Avenue, potentially slowing down the evening commute.

To avoid delays, citizens travelling towards Islamabad are advised to use Rawal Road, Faquir-e-Azam Road, and Srinagar Highway. Meanwhile, those heading towards Rawalpindi should take Zero Point and Srinagar Highway via Ninth Avenue.

Motorists are urged to remain vigilant, follow traffic instructions, and allow extra travel time during the one-hour diversion period.
