Trump says will ‘not unfreeze’ Iran’s assets even if deal is reached

US President Donald Trump said the United States is close to an agreement with Iran however his administration will never unfreeze their assets being confiscated abroad even if the deal is done, Reuters cited on Sunday evening him as saying.

President Trump said that under any deal, enriched uranium would be removed and destroyed, while warning that the US is ready for military action if no agreement is reached.

Trump claimed Iran has agreed it will not develop nuclear weapons and described Iran’s new leadership as “more intelligent,” noting that Mojtaba Khamenei is involved in the approval process.

He also said he is willing to hold direct talks with Iran’s new Supreme Leader.
