In a livestream on October 25, 2025, prominent streamer Emiru, real name Emily Beth Schunk, made serious allegations against fellow creator Mizkif, real name Matthew Rinaudo, accusing him of sexual assault, psychological abuse, stalking, harassment, and threats of blackmail.

Emiru said the decision to speak out came after she was assaulted at TwitchCon 2025 in San Diego on October 17, when a fan reportedly breached security and forcibly approached her during a meet-and-greet. During her broadcast, Emiru addressed the audience directly, saying, “Today I’m finally going to be opening up about the psychological and domestic abuse, stalking and harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail that Mizkif has done towards me.”

She explained that she had avoided making these issues public throughout 2025, but now she has decided to go public after learning of further alleged incidents.

Emiru recounted an encounter with Mizkif where she says, “He started kissing me…then, suddenly, he tried to climb on top of me and aggressively shoved his hand down my pants, and I screamed.” She added that his response was to leave immediately without checking on her well-being.

Emiru also claims that Mizkif had, via third-parties, threatened to launch a smear campaign against her if she spoke out. She alleged that, at TwitchCon, he approached one of her staff members and warned them he would “destroy” her if she broke silence.

She says she is pursuing restraining orders in both California and Texas.

The assault at TwitchCon is seen by many as the catalyst for Emiru’s decision to go public. Video footage reportedly shows the fan bypassing several barriers and grabbing her at the event. Emiru disputed the official account from Twitch that the assailant was “immediately detained,” calling it a “blatant lie.”

MIZKIF’S PREVIOUS CONTROVERSIES

Mizkif is a US–based streamer and YouTuber, co-founder of the content organisation One True King (OTK). He was previously accused of covering up an alleged sexual assault involving a roommate and streamer AdrianahLee, though a law-firm investigation found no direct evidence that he minimised the matter.

As of now, Mizkif has not publicly responded to Emiru’s accusations. OTK and Twitch have also not issued statements addressing the new claims. However, the streamer community is reacting strongly, with calls mounting for Twitch to ban Mizkif from the platform.
