Two children die after allegedly having substandard noodles in Lahore

LAHORE: Two children in Lahore’s Manwan area allegedly died on Thursday after consuming noodles.

According to the police, the deceased siblings are 11-year-old Maryam and 9-year-old Rafay.

The mother of the deceased children stated that they had purchased two packets of noodles from the Baghbanpura market. Upon preparing and consuming the noodles at home, both children fell severely ill.

The police reported that the 11-year-old girl passed away at home, while the 9-year-old boy succumbed after reaching the hospital.
