Two Indian army officers, one police official killed in IIOJK


KASHMIR: An Indian Army colonel, major and a deputy superintendent of police have been killed in an attack in Islamabad district, of the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Aashish Dhonchak and Deputy Superintendent of Police Himanyun Muzamil Bhat lost their lives in a gunfight in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Indian media reported.

The gunfight erupted during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday after a joint team of police and army launched an operation at Garol village of Kokernag area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
