Two under-19 cricketers from Sri Lanka Cricket have been arrested following allegations that they secretly recorded a woman inside a hotel bathroom, according to media reports.

The incident reportedly took place at a hotel in Colombo, where the players were staying with the rest of the national youth squad. The woman filed a complaint accusing the cricketers of using a mobile phone to film her without consent while she was in the bathroom.

Law enforcement authorities detained the two players earlier this week and later released them on personal bail of Rs 500,000 each. Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident, including whether any footage was shared or uploaded to social media platforms.

Officials say the accused are scheduled to appear in court again on May 25 as the case proceeds.

So far, Sri Lanka Cricket has not announced any disciplinary action against the players. The case has raised concerns around privacy violations and conduct standards among young athletes representing national teams.
