Two terrorists killed, four injured along Chitral-Afghan border: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: Security forces have killed two terrorists and injured four others during an intelligence-based operation along the Chitral-Afghan border.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces launched an operation in the border area of Ursoon, located in the Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, between the 7th and 8th of November.

During the operation, an intense exchange of gunfire ensued with the terrorists, resulting in the killing of two militants and injuring four others.

According to the ISPR, the operation is ongoing in the area to hunt down the remaining terrorists. Local residents praised the operation of the security forces.

The ISPR also highlighted that the security forces are determined to eradicate the curse of terrorism from the country as part of their ongoing efforts.

On September 10, at least seven terrorists were killed in the Ursoon area of Chitral district during an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists.
