Tyler Perry’s ‘Beauty in Black’ returns with explosive season 2 part 2 on Netflix

Tyler Perry’s hit drama Beauty in Black has returned with the second part of its second season, dropping a fresh batch of episodes on Netflix and pushing its high-stakes storyline into a new phase.

The latest instalment, released on Friday, brings eight new episodes, arriving nearly six months after the first part of season two premiered.

The series follows Kimmie, played by Taylor Polidore Williams, a former exotic dancer who rises to power after inheriting the Bellarie family’s beauty empire through marriage. Her position at the centre of the business has triggered intense conflict within the family, which is entangled in both a cosmetics dynasty and a criminal underworld.

The new episodes deepen those tensions, with one major storyline focusing on Jules, the family’s head of security, who suspects Kimmie is responsible for his son’s death. Viewers, however, are aware that the fatal incident stemmed from a misunderstanding involving Kimmie’s close circle.

As the drama unfolds, power struggles within the Bellarie family continue to escalate. A preview of the latest episodes hints at further manipulation and shifting alliances, with key characters appearing to position themselves carefully rather than openly taking sides.

The series has already been renewed for a third and final season, with Williams suggesting that future episodes will see Kimmie fully step into her power.

With its mix of personal drama, family conflict and darker themes, Beauty in Black continues to build momentum as one of Tyler Perry’s most talked-about streaming projects.

All episodes of season two, part two are now available to stream on Netflix.
