HIGHFIELD: The 12th clash of the U19 Cricket World Cup saw an unexpected total that the SCO U19 posted in the PAK U19 VS SCO U19 today. The Scotland U19 posted a modest 187-run total against Pakistan XI.
Currently, Pakistan U19’s top-notch Ali Hasan Baloch and Sameer Ahmed Minhas are standing at the crease, hoping to chase the given target as early as possible.
Earlier, Pakistan XI elected to field first, aimed at possibly restricting their opponents in the Pak U19 vs SCO U19 clash of the World Cup, which Pakistan ensured.
The SCO U-19 began their innings in a far weaker manner, as Pakistan’s bowlers attacked them.

Top-order Thomas Knight, the team’s skipper, scored 37 off 72 balls, while Finlay Jones added 33 off 56 deliveries.
Overall, the team gained some energy after Finlay Carter (12 off 16), Rory Grant (21 off 45), Ollie Jones (30 off 35) and Manu Saraswat (25 off 36) increased their total up to 172.
They had the opportunity to increase the team’s total up to 187, after the Shaheens bowlers conceded 15 runs in extras.
The 12th ODI match of the U-19 World Cup 2026 might gain an early finish, as Shaheens’ batters are creating momentum confidently at the crease.
