UHS issues final merit list for MBBS admission


UHS merit lists

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has concluded the admission selection process by officially unveiling the final merit lists for public medical and dental colleges.

The comprehensive lists, featuring 4485 candidates, were published on the university’s official website, following an interim merit list release on December 8.

Candidates were granted a 48-hour window to register objections to the initial list, leveraging the online portal designed for this purpose. A substantial 1159 objections were submitted within the stipulated time frame.

Prof Nadia Naseem, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of UHS, led the careful consideration of all objections, resulting in the issuance of the final merit lists.

The admission team, comprising senior faculty members, played a crucial role in preparing the lists, which will now serve as the cornerstone for admissions to public medical and dental colleges.

A total of 3389 candidates are set to be enrolled through open merit and quota seats.

For aspirants vying for a spot in public medical colleges, the announcement of the first selection list for allocation is scheduled for December 15.

The closing merit of UHS MBBS Govt Admission is 92.80%.

There is a total of 2900 MBBS seats in Punjab.
