UHS provisional merit list for admission to public medical colleges

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has presented the provisional MBBS merit list for the 2023-24 admissions to government medical and dental colleges in Punjab, offering a comprehensive view of the top 5000 eligible candidates.

 Among them, 3389 individuals are poised to secure coveted spots in the highly competitive MBBS and BDS programs.

Carefully delineating candidates eligible for both open merit and quota seats, the UHS spokesperson disclosed that the provisional list indicates an open merit percentage of 91.3% for MBBS and a slightly lower 91.1% for BDS.

Accessible on the official website, candidates have a 48-hour window to file objections to the interim merit list.

The UHS spokesperson emphasises that objections must be submitted exclusively through the UHS online complaint portal, and it is mandatory to accompany objections with relevant documentary evidence..

Anticipated on December 12, the final merit list, incorporating any upheld objections, will serve as the definitive basis for allocating candidates to various medical and dental colleges in Punjab.
