Unknown assailants open fire at cricketer Naseem Shah’s residence

DIR LOWER: Unknown assailants opened fire at the residence of Pakistan’s fast bowler Naseem Shah, police said on Monday.

According to police, the firing incident damaged the main gate, windows, and a vehicle parked outside the house. Police teams reached the scene soon after the attack; however, the suspects managed to flee.

Officials said that five suspects have been taken into custody, while a case has been registered at the Miyaar Police Station.

A search operation is under way to arrest those involved in the incident, police said.
