US-based Powerus delegation meets CDF Munir, expresses interest in Pakistan’s defence sector

A delegation of US-based company Powerus called on Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi and expressed interest in Pakistan’s defence sector, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The delegation, led by Robert Bret Velicovich, comprised experts specialising in defence and critical infrastructure solutions, the military’s media wing said.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, evolving trends in defence technology and potential avenues for cooperation.

The delegation expressed interest in areas including defence procurement, production and capacity building, according to the ISPR statement.

CDF Asim Munir highlighted the importance of technological innovation and advanced solutions in strengthening national security and resilience.

Both sides expressed interest in further developing engagement in areas of mutual interest.
