Pakistan has announced special facilitation measures for foreign delegates, including journalists, attending the upcoming Islamabad Talks 2026, easing entry requirements to support international participation.

In a statement shared on X, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said that all delegates travelling in connection with the talks would be granted visa-on-arrival facilities upon landing in Pakistan. He added that airlines have been requested to allow such individuals to board their flights without requiring a prior visa, ensuring smooth travel arrangements ahead of the high-level engagement.

The move is aimed at encouraging broad international representation at the Islamabad Talks 2026, which are expected to bring together policymakers, diplomats and media personnel from multiple countries. By easing visa restrictions, Pakistan seeks to project openness and facilitate dialogue at a time when regional and global cooperation remains critical.

Immigration authorities have been directed to extend full support to incoming participants and ensure a streamlined process at entry points. Officials believe the initiative will not only enhance participation but also reflect Pakistan’s commitment to hosting inclusive and accessible international forums.
