US-Iran ceasefire: traffic diversions planned in Islamabad amid arrival of foreign delegations

Traffic alert: Key capital roads to face diversions tomorrow evening

Islamabad Traffic Police have issued an advisory announcing temporary road diversions due to the movement of foreign delegations in the federal capital. According to a spokesperson, diversions will be placed along Srinagar Highway to facilitate secure and smooth transit of official convoys.

Commuters have been advised to plan their travel accordingly and use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience during the movement of delegations.

The advisory comes as Islamabad prepares to host high-level international engagements linked to ongoing diplomatic efforts in the region, including talks related to the Iran-US ceasefire.

The traffic police assured that personnel will be deployed across key points to manage flow and assist the public. “Islamabad Traffic Police are present on the roads to ensure convenience and provide guidance to citizens,” the spokesperson said.

Authorities have urged residents to cooperate with traffic officials and follow instructions to ensure smooth movement and public safety during this period.
