US tariffs on Mexico paused for a month after border deal, Trump says

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said that she had rejected an offer from Trump to send US troops to Mexico to combat drug trafficking.

President Sheinbaum says, “We have this month to work and convince each other that this is the best way forward.”
